I always complained that I never had enough time at home, and I’m finding out that is more then true! Today we hit the one week mark of being home, no work, no school, no ballet…and I know people are probably frustrated, anxiety ridden & financially strapped. I know I was freaking out at work when I first heard about everything going on. It was like a train wreck that I just could not stop reading into. Well after giving myself so much anxiety that it was giving me chest pains, I thought…there has to be a better way to spend my time, energy & thoughts. Also I can’t be alone in this snowball affect that we’re all going thru.
Now within the last week I started a third party blog thru a site called Medium. I’ve done tons of research on how people get thru hard times & helping others from home. I’ve looked into freelance writing because I’ve always liked to write and in hopes that some income was better then nothing. It helps that I am so chatty & opinionated, figured it’d be a good fit. LOL. I have started a YouTube page, and officially created my own website/ blog. Which anyone who knows me is probably laughing right now because I am the least tech savvy person out there. My mom always says I was born in the wrong generation and that I was probably meant to live in the 70s lol. I must have just missed the cut off or something, because everyone else my age seems to be great with technology. Luckily I have some very great people to help me along the way when I get stuck.
So I just wanted to write a quick post to share with everyone that I think I have finally turned my anxiety in to excitement. Don’t get me wrong, I am still petrified…I have no idea what I’m doing! I am a naturally an “all over the place” kind of person. I’ve always struggled with many many things throughout my life and change is always hard and scary for me. Like I would rather sit and be miserable in a terrible situation then just go thru a change to get thru it and to the other side. I got a fortune out of a cookie a long time ago and held on to it all these years because it reminds me to never stop growing, learning & living.
